In any project, there are more or less conflicts due to differences in thinking.
For example, various opinions are expressed on technical issues of the project, which leads to conflicts between the project leader and members or among members.
In addition, there are members whose way of thinking inevitably do not agree with each other.
Here is my experience, but I had such an experience in a project I was in charge of in the past.
In our daily meetings, there was always someone who disagreed with me, and we would sometimes argue quite vehemently.
However, even if I beat them in the discussion, they often did not act as I told them to, and the project did not run smoothly.
It was then that I came across a phrase from a PMP textbook.

If you let the other person down in an argument, you may feel better about your own feelings. However, if that other person does not act as you have said, you have not given priority to the project.
Therefore, no matter how you respond, it is important that you consider “what is best” for the project and you act accordingly.
By doing so, in my case, the project began to run smoothly.
